About

Our store was founded in 1994 by Renee Meyer. Renee had a vision to create a fun and welcoming environment where anyone can be an artist. Since then her studio has become League City's "best kept secret", providing a variety of engaging classes and fiery fun for patrons.

Meet Our Team

Renee
Renee has been playing in the mud since she was a wee babe. These days she can be found behind the pottery wheel throwing and carving pots. When she's not playing with her plethora of cats and taking long walks on the beach, she's playing in the mud in her Jeep. To see more of her artwork, click
Tara
Tara graduated December 2021 from University of Houston Clearlake with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio and loves all things ceramics. Pottery class expert. Come throw clay with her...just not at her!

Zoe
When Zoe's not helping around the studio and making obscure movie references to her coworkers, she's out watching movies and spending time with her dogs.
Cameron
Hi, my name is Cameron. From a young age I have loved creating. As I got older, I explored my options for careers which included getting a Texas Floral Certification and completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering Design Graphics. I eventually came back to my love of art, getting both a degree in Studio Arts and finding my dream job here as a handbuilder. I look forward to helping bring your ideas to life, especially if it brings you joy. "I like ferrets".

Emily
Emily is an artist and student at University of Houston - Clear Lake. She loves helping people bring out their creative sides through ceramics. When she isn't working on her degree, she loves being outdoors and hanging out with her dog.

Carolina
Carolina may not work here anymore, but we just can't delete her! She is short. To see some of her artwork, click
