Have you ever wanted to give the Pottery Wheel a try? We provide lessons for any skill level. Beginners will learn the basic skills needed to make pots on the wheel; Centering, Opening, Stretching, and Lifting. Over time your skills will grow to include Shapping, Trimming and Finishing.
Pottery Wheel sessions are scheduled; please call us for a reservation.
One Shot-
Make a Pot!
Try your hand at the pottery wheel in a single session with the help of our experienced staff members.

In your 2 hour session you will make one pottery piece on the pottery wheel. You can paint the piece the same day (we will dip glaze it for you) OR return after it has been bisque fired and paint it with one of our glazes.

Call in advance to schedule and pay for your session. Minimum age is 10 years.

  One 2-hour session - $45.00*
*Tuition includes instruction, clay, glaze and firing for one pottery piece.

- Tuesday 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

- Wednesday 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
; 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Thursday 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

- Friday 11:00 am - 1:00 pm; 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

- Saturday 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Beginning Wheel Class This class includes an introduction to the potter's wheel focusing on wedging, centering, shaping and trimming.

No prior experience is required. It's intended for those who have never used the potters wheel or those who are looking for a refresher. Each student progesses at his/her own rate. 

 Four 2-hour sessions - $130.00* (sessions are held on 4 consecutive weeks at the appointed day/time)
*Tuition includes use of all studio equipment and firing. Wear comfortable clothing which you don't mind getting a little dirty! Bring a towel for your lap or wiping your hands.

- Thursday 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Individual Wheel Time
