Pottery Wheel Training
Beginning Wheel Class This class includes an introduction to the potter's wheel focusing on wedging, centering, shaping and trimming.

No prior experience is required. It's intended for those who have never used the potters wheel or those who are looking for a refresher. Each student progesses at his/her own rate. 

Cost:
  4 two-hour sessions - $98.00 *
   Clay (approximately $17/bag)
  Basic tool kit (about $17.00 + tax)
  Glazes (about $5 each)
  Other finishing materials and specialty firings are extra.

*Tuition includes use of all studio equipment and firing. Wear  comfortable clothing which you don't mind getting a little dirty! Bring a towel for your lap or wiping your hands.

Class Times:
- Wednesday 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Thursday 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Friday 11:00 am - 1:00 pm or 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
- Saturday 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Continuing Wheel Once you are comfortable with basic wheel throwing, you can refine your skills, create larger pieces and advanced shapes. Use this time to enhance your wheel throwing skills and learn new techniques tailored to the individual student.
Individual Wheel Time Enjoy wheel time rental any time:

  • 3 wheels available; $11.25/hour plus all material and firings

  • Schedule any time during business hours other than the pottery class times above
