Upcoming Shows & Exhibits

The Ceramic Center offers jewelry art instruction in precious metal clay, glass fusing and enameling! Our classes allow students to learn at their own pace and gain experience with the tools and materials. Most classes can be accomplished by any experience level. We carry a considerable inventory of jewelry making tools and materials for the jewelry artist in you!
Click on the photos below for more information.
Precious Metal Clay (PMC)

PMC is a clay-like material that can be formed and worked just as you would any clay. It shapes easily and fires into a pure metal object! Metal clay is especially useful for creating sized designs such as rings. Personalize your piece with texture and shape so that it's a one-of-a-kind!  There are so many finishing options available with metal clay jewelry including enameling and gold plating/foiling. Are you hoarding a cool stone or fossil without a solution for transforming it into something wearable (who isn't)? Well, metal clay can be formed into a setting for that precious little heirloom!

Fused Glass

We carry glass in many forms allowing you to really get creative. We can supply you with sheet glass, noodles, stringers, pebbles, frit (varying sizes of ground glass), glass paint and dichroic glass...providing you with endless options for fused glass components. We'll worry about things like the 'coefficient of expansion' so that you can concentrate on designing!

Enameling

Periodically throughout the year we offer classes or workshops on enameling. This finishing process takes your metal jewelry pieces to a whole new level of sophistication and beauty.
